BFS Short Story Competition 2010: the Finalists!

The finalists in the BFS Short Story Competition 2010 are, in alphabetical order by story title:

  • “Beating Heart”, by Dan Malach
  • “Blue”, by Janet Edwards
  • “Make a Bear”, by James Windsor & Damon Conlan
  • “Omar the Teller of Tales”, by Robin Tompkins
  • “The Song”, by Travis Heermann

The winners will be announced on Saturday night at FantasyCon, during the British Fantasy Awards ceremony. The first prize is £100 and a year’s membership of the BFS.

Thanks to everyone who entered the competition this year, and of course to the members and friends of the BFS who served on our reading and judging panels.

The 2011 competition will be open to entries from 1 January 2011.
