Venue: The Blacksmith & the Toffeemaker pub, 292-294 Saint John Street, London EC1V 4PA. Nearest tube: Angel (Northern Line). Directions: out of Angel tube, turn left and follow road downhill. Pub is on a corner after 5-7 mins walk.
Book Launch: “Sensorama: Stories of the Senses” Anthology edited by Allen Ashley and published by Eibonvale Press will be officially launched at the next BFS Open Night in London on Friday 6 March. Allen will be in attendance, along with publisher David Rix. We are also hopeful that many of the featured authors will attend. Confirmed so far are: Gary Budgen, Kelda Crich, Terry Grimwood, David Gullen, David McGroarty and David Turnbull .
“Sensorama” consists of 21 knockout stories exploring the conventional and unconventional senses; it features some of the most exciting writers in the genre. Everyone who purchases a copy of the book on the night will receive a ticket offering them the chance to win framed artwork from the book.
Plus: free prize draw — books to give away! The venue is informal with a good range of affordable drinks & food. We’re in the large back room — come and join us. All welcome. Please help spread the word!
