Title: Alt Fiction 2010
Post by: Peter Coleborn on July 08, 2009, 08:44:30 pm
The good news is that Alt Fiction returns in 2010. There is no bad news.

Alt Fiction will take place in Derby in June 2010. I'll post the exact date as soon as I can find my notes (they are downstairs and I'm in my study in the attic room).

Okay, found my notes.

Alt Fiction 2010 is scheduled for Saturday 12th June. The Venue is the Quad, which is opposite the Assemby Rooms in Derby. I gather that the event will be offically launched in November.

Murky Depths may well be announcing the winner of Over To You - the Mike Carey writing competition - which starts in Issue #10 (http://www.murkydepths.com) at next year's At Fiction.
In case you aren't familiar with Mike's work he is the author of some of the best X-Men, Fantastic Four, Lucifer and Hellblazer storylines and the original Felix Castor novels.

Oooo, nice! I've already booked my ticket for that - primarily to see Bryan Talbot again as he's doing a talk about the making of Grandville. But I might just find my way to the Murky Depths table too ...  :)
