Hi Caroline!

I know what you mean, I'm fine with using forums, social media etc. But anything more complicated and I'm lost.

Yeah I've heard that happen to friends before, so it would just be things I'd written without a publisher in mind.

That looks pretty close to what I'm looking for. Was it difficult to get set up?

Hi guys,

I'm new to this community but I was wondering if you could help me out with something I've been unsure of.

I want to start a website for myself, somewhere to link to/collect short stories I've written in one place. And do a bit of blogging, have some friends write guest pieces. That kind of thing. Does anyone else here have something similar? If so, where do you host it? I was thinking about using http://website.1and1.co.uk/website-builder as it looks pretty newbie-friendly, but I thought it would be a good idea to ask around before I jumped in.

Thanks for reading!
Charlie

TV and Film / Re: What have you been watching on telly?

After marathon-watching all of Breaking Bad, I'm moving a way from serious tv shows for a bit. Wouldn't be able to stop myself comparing quality. So as a palate cleanser, I'm stickin with comedy for a bit. It's Always Sunny in Phildelphia, Archer and a thousandth re-watch of Father Ted.

My listening this past week has switched back and forth between the new Arcade Fire album, Deltron 3030's new album and Kvelertak, as black metal has no place being that groovy.

Watched Pacific Rim over the weekend. It was absolutely perfect for what it was. Del Toro's eye for design just makes it look so good.

Just finished A Serpent Uncoiled by Si Spurrier.Knew him mostly from his comic work, which is always inventive and darkly funny. This carries on in the same vein. Very, very entertaining.
