Ben Wheatley to direct, I wonder if they will sneak in some folk horror.

Seeing as there is no link to the forum from the main site, guess I should go somewhere else to ask but being an old stager here I go.

have there been any more publications since BFS Horizons #9?

and if so what, if not when is the next publication due?

It was good to see Cardinal Cox making an appearance in #9.

I've just re-joined the BFS. I stopped renewing after several times not getting books from previous times I've joined, I've decided to give the society another go, this time I've joined electronically, I usually send a cheque but last time I received 1 journal and even had a reminder to re-join that ignored my previous joining.

Well here's hoping and hope to read the new journal & publications.

Any ideas who I should e-mither?

Hello,

Meant to say I have my copy of 13 (not twelve but I sent an e-mither to Ian) Thanks to all those who put it together, Robin Hood was nice to read about, brings back old memories. I agree with Peter, it was good to see Roger Zelazny receive a review. Though I do like the old writer getting a look in as well.

Thanks,

Wayne.

On the comic side Granville Noel by Brian Talbot, splendid as always, a one shot Shadow: Agents of Shadow, fairly straight forward but enjoyable. Shadow Show a celebration of Ray Bradbury, The Man Who Forgot Ray Bradbury and Backward in Seville are the episodes in the current issue and splendid.

I finished The Ghost Pirates by William hope Hodgson, I enjoyed it, a corss between the Sargasso sea & The House on the Borderland. Also a short SF set in the far flung 1970's after the first flight to Mars when 2 go and only 1 comes back in Judith Merrill's The Tomorrow People (no not those.) a slight but enjoyable tale.

I was still renewing my membership when this was being sent, has it gone out? If it's gone then I don't have a copy, so how do I get a copy?

All suggestions eagerly awaited,

I've been watching Remember Me on the Beeb, an old fashioned ghost story with Michael Palin. Last episode tonight, I must say I've rather enjoyed it, nothing surprising but it's well made and keeps the feeling of dread going well. A splendid ghost story now the inter is closing in.

I've picked up the re-issues of Robert Aickman from Faber, lovely and unsettling stories. The Books gorgeous as well. I particularly liked the afterwords have been particularly illuminating.

Also dropping in and out of collection of William hope Hodgson's tales, picked up cheap on the kindle.

Myself, Nadia and the little one are thinking of making the trek from Manchester the problem is we won't be there until 6 - 603pm.

Does anyone know the rules for children, is the Brigante OK with kids??
