Purchasing old magazines?
« on: August 01, 2007, 09:51:03 pm »
Hi,

does any have any recommendations of where I can browse and buy online copies of old magazines? By this I mean out of print copies of horror/sf/fantasy mags like The Third Alternative, Fear, Cemetery Dance, etc.

I'm looking for somewhere UK based, but I suspect I might have to look to the US.

I don't know of any one-stop-shop in the UK, but try US-based Shocklines (while they're still open for business).

Cheers, Lee.

By the way, any idea when you'll be opening the submissions up again for HUB?

I keep checking Ralan.com and Duotrope obsessively!

HUGE backlog at the moment - I've had to lock the slush puppies in the basement with nowt but an oil lamp and a piece of dry toast unti they're through.

It's not going to be soon, I'm afraid. We've 500-odd stories still to read and we've already accepted enought to take us through to next February...
