Hi Everyone,

I'm a mathematician by training, a software developer by profession, and an occasional writer. I also  play piano, practise aikido, and love to exercise. Recently, I've published two stores in the new eZine, Orion's Child (http://www.galadarn.com/OrionsChild.html). I'm continuing to write, but it sure is hard to find the time with two small children to care for. I can pretty much only squeeze out a half an hour each morning before they awake.

Cheers

Mark McCormick

Hi Mark
I'm new here too, but loving it so far. Have to admire your dedication with so much going on - me, I have a boyfriend to care for(!!), a job, I practice Shotokan Karate and have just started an open university degree, so I just don't find time to write anymore. Which is a shame.

But hope you do better than me and congratulations on your publications

Mark, that's nothing pal!

I have a wife, 2 kids, 3rd on the way and a law firm to run and work a 70 hour week! (minimum!)

I have a backlog of about 40 books to read and am trying to write a novel!

Life's...shall we say...interesting. :o

Half an hour a day's better than half an hour a week :)

Your funeral, Eddy; keep it up and you'll be dead before retirement.

Sorry to put a dampner on things, but there's more to life than work.

Well hello to all you new people.

Know how you feel eddy, luckily my current long hours shouldn't last more than a month, 10 12 hour shifts plus weekend stuff when I'm not off in sunny Nottingham.

Chris if the works interesting why not? How much time do people do here and then write?

I work collecting data on buses and there are so many good 2ndhand bookshops round Greater Manchester that it would be a shame not to buy thier books, so my backog shall not be counted, I daren't. One place does 5 books for a quid, I know my eyes are too big for my brain.

Well hope you like it here,

Wayne.
