I know. But I have a friend who's going to Conpulsion, so he's been told to keep an eye out for you ;)

I played sign up games for Hollow Earth, Celtic Legends and Aeternal Legends, marvelled at how expensive everything was in the charity auction (where do these students get their money?), chatted to Angus and Roger from Cubicle 7, met Andy Hepworth and John Hodgson, game artists extraordinaire, bought some more rpg stuff, because my house obviously doesn't have enough. I would have stayed for the club night but it was a bit cold (and quiet) at 11 and I was tired. The high point of the weekend for me was talking to the writer and buying a copy of the new Aeternal Legends game, which I am going to describe a bit like neverwhere but with more fantasy. It gave me heart that a guy from Edinburgh with a day job can get a game published! Also we discovered some amusing facts about Jonny Nexus from these boards, who was on the phone during the auction. Apparently he has a thing for pillowcases! All in all, it was good and well worth going, if a little quiet.
