Hello everyone,

I registered AGES ago, but must have forgotten to get involved. I'm going to be at FantasyCon this year however so thought I would say hello.

I write 'weird and speculative' fiction. Primarily short stories of which I have had about a dozen published in zines such as Electric Velocipede and The Drabblecast. I have done a little writing for BBC Radio as well. I'm also working on my first novel, a contemporary fantasy. I blog regularly here:

Last year I was lucky enough to get to take part in the Clarion writers workshop in San Diego, taught by Kelly Link and Neil Gaiman among others. I am an occasional guest on the Sofanauts podcast and for the last couple of years have been blogging for The Guardian online on various SF related topics:

Am really looking forward to FantasyCon this year. Have not bought my membership yet but will soon. Looking forward to posting here now and again.

Damien
