Love Le Guin's expression: 'committing science fiction' (cf Pratchett's 'I've been accused of literature') .  I thought The Handmaid's Tale was wonderful, left my nerves on edge, but Aldiss and Le Guin leave Atwood standing in terms of loyalty to fans and the hand that fed (and feeds!) them.
Anyway, gotta dash - weird things to do in weird places....
