The Gerlach Collection
« on: February 21, 2010, 02:35:29 pm »
Just a snippet of news for what's to come ...

SD is proud to announce that it will be publishing all of Steve Gerlach's existing novels over the next 2-3 years. If all goes to plan, that is! The books were originally published as very nice hardback editions by some of the US presses, but are now pretty difficult to get hold of (not to mention expensive) on the second-hand market. So, Screaming Dreams will be releasing new (more affordable!) paperback editions of all the previous titles, to make them available again to fans of Gerlach's work.

Here's a sneak peek at the covers in progress. Please note these are subject to change in the final versions though ...

The creepy Lake Mountain cover art was done by the ever-talented Edward Miller, while The Nocturne is a stunning piece by Vince Natale.

Publishing is due to begin in September, with Lake Mountain scheduled for release at FantasyCon. More details to follow in due course, so keep watching.

It seems that Fred the cat (belonging to author Mark H. Jones) has taken a liking to the fly on the Lake Mountain book cover ... as he's been caught red-handed (or should that be red-pawed?) eating the promotional bookmarks! Can't fault his taste, but it's still willful destruction of SD materials!
