Lovecraft Podcast
« on: November 14, 2009, 08:50:20 am »
I often listen to podcasts when driving but they are often hit or miss (more often miss). One I have consistently enjoyed is the H.P. Lovecraft Literary podcast (more details from http://blog.hppodcraft.com/. Not only is it thorough and intelligent but it also doesn't take itself too seriously. If you haven't tried it but like Lovecraft, give it a go.

Anyone with any other podcast recommendations?

It would be remiss of me not to use this opportunity to plug - yet again - our new series of horror-comedy podcasts, In The Gloaming ( http://inthegloamingpodcasts.wordpress.org ). New creepy tales of now every month, performed by some of Britain's best young comics. Or that's what I think, anyway,

Episode 1 is available here: http://bit.ly/1uP2Xq and Episode 2 will be out on the 27th...

Hope you enjoy them,

Natt

Check out darksmile.co.uk.

They don't have much content available for free download unfortunately, but they do have quality horror writers like Simon Bestwick collaborating with them.

Also http://pseudopod.org/ (more audio book-like).

I particularly recommend 'Pseudopod 162: 'Suicide Notes, Written by an Alien Mind' - kind of like 'When Starship Troopers go bad' - superb!
