Hi. My name is Joe Pulver. I’m an American Horror author. I've written for the American small press for many years now and had a novel, Nightmare’s Disciple (Chaosium 1999),  and a collection, Blood Will Have Its Season (Hippocampus Press 2009), published.

Not really sure what to say here, so I’ll let the following speak about who I am –

"Some writers one admirers and others make one want to do as they do, or try. For me, Joe Pulver is of the latter type. His imagination is so vile so much of the time that it makes me giggle with amazement. And the prose so deadly visionary. I'm grateful that the pieces in this collection are those of a fellow horror writer who has raised the ante on what it means to be such a creature." - Thomas Ligotti

Writing in her “Summation 2009” in The Best Horror of the Year (Night Shade Books 2010), Ellen Datlow said, “Blood Will Have Its Season is an ambitious debut including thirty stories and one long poem, most published for the first time. Although obliviously influenced by H. P. Lovecraft and Robert W. Chambers, for the most part Pulver uses their influences to create potent tales of his own. A writer to keep an eye on. S.T. Joshi provides an introduction.”

I look forward to meeting the members here.

All my bEastly best!! !!

Joe

Nice to see another Lovecraftian-influenced writer on board. Your collection sounds more than interesting!

David and Colin hi.

David, we aren't the only ones here . . . Laird Barron is here and i'm sure many others as well.

Colin - thanks. TL's out of the blue rec was a highlight for me. As is Laird Barron penning the intro to my new collection, SIN & ashes, coming this fall from Hippocampus.

All my beastly best,

Joe
