I liked Luke Cage a lot (and I loved Misty Knight).

We just started watching the new Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, and so far I totally adore it. Like Doctor Who crossed with Fargo.

I think I only watched the first episode of the Dirk Gently series that was made 10+ years ago and wasn't impressed. Is this a completely different team? Is it better?

(Then again, as I like neither Who nor Fargo, it's not looking promising for me, is it? ;) )

Not really! Yes, it's a completely different production. This is from BBC America and Netflix, with Max Landis (Chronicle) as the showrunner. I never got around to watching the BBC4 version, so I can't say how it compares, and I don't remember very much about the novels, but I think it acts as a sequel to them.
