I'm not doing anything that involves cheque books, banking or posting things out.  They are of the devil and I shall have no part in it.   ;)

Playing with spreadsheets and sorting the numbers out, fine.  I like that.  It's fun.   ;D

So that's you and Chris as joint editors now is it?   ;)

How about this: if you were to volunteer to sort that stuff out for me, I would volunteer to stay on as special pubs editor, should David want me to.    :o  ;D  :-*

I second that notion.

Okay, then, what I'll do is email David to say I'm happy to stay on, given Jen's offer of help on the stuff that would be most onerous, and see if he'll have me.

What I'd do then is say to you, Chris, something like the autumn slot each year is yours, and the summer slot is mine, and we can leapfrog projects in a way that shouldn't leave either of us overwhelmed.

But we'll have to wait and see what David thinks before making any firm plans!
