Graphics software series
« on: February 27, 2011, 08:59:23 pm »
Hi all,

Please forgive the slightly off-topic post here, but just wanted to let you know about my new graphics software, Pulp Styler!

http://www.cybia.co.uk/pulpstyler.html

I originally made this for my own artwork needs, as a quick and easy method of creating B&W artwork in a similar style to old pulp illustrations. But also decided to release the application as a commercial product on my other website at Cybia (which is dedicated to my graphics software side of things).

So if any of you are interested in converting your images to B&W illustrations (now also includes colour modes!) then be sure to check out the demo version, which is now available to download from the product page.

Thanks for taking the time to look.

Steve

Another little app in the same series, called Super Snap.

Give your digital photos a touch of retro colour! The software offers a selection of styles that recreate a similar look to traditional 35mm film and prints of their day. It adds a slightly soft-focus effect which is kind to skin tones, producing a lovely glow in the highlights and deep soft shadows. This makes it ideal for portrait photos in particular. But also works great on other subjects too.
