Looks great. Now I'm wondering if I'll be getting a copy of the previous issue in my welcome pack, which I haven't received yet (no rush. I know they get sent out when time allows), or whether I have to find a copy to get part one of Mike Barrett's interesting looking article.

Uh, guys? I've interviewed quite a few people of late - but I'm pretty sure Mary Danby's not one of them! You might want to double-check that...  :)

You're right, Loe. I hadn't noticed that your name had somehow or other got attached to this interview. I checked the copies I sent off and it's not credited to anyone, just Prism. Puzzling.

David Howe has told me he is correcting this for the printed version.

Like me, he's puzzled how your name, Lou, got attached to this.  ???

The Summer edition of the Journal went off to the printers yesterday.  Hopefully we should get copies back by the end of the month and get them off to Members as soon as we do get them!

Expecting copies of the Summer Journal back at the end of this week, so mailing them next weekend ... watch out for 260 pages of BFS Goodness thunking through your letterboxes thereafter :)

Nice one! Can you include some sunshine with the books as well? It doesn't feel like summer at the moment.   ;D

Arrived today - first impressions are that it looks great, especially the yellow. And well done for getting it out on time. From the copyright page it looks like PS Publishing are no longer involved, but it doesn't look any worse for it. It's a really substantial issue.

Having a contents page, the chairman's chat and the BFS news at the beginning is a brilliant move - it pulls it all together, for me. Love the idea of Full Fathom Forty - 40 stories to celebrate 40 years. I'm intrigued by the plans for 2013.

Bumper book review section - will look forward to reading it. The more non-fiction the better. Congratulations for Jan Edwards for hitting the ground, not just running, but sprinting! No indie or rpg reviews, though? I spent forever trying to knock the one I wrote for this issue into shape, so I was a bit disappointed not to see it in print.

The only other gripe would be that I'm not a big fan of the issues being labelled just by date, because it'll lead to them getting mixed up a lot once the books find their way onto places like Amazon and Goodreads - issue numbers would be good, or perhaps even fancy titles like Postscripts, e.g. this one could have been BFS Journal: In the House of Answers..!

Got my printed copy today, thanks.

Will the Kindle version be sent out fairly soon? That's the format I read now, for disability reasons. I should be on the list for it.

Got my copy yesterday and am really impressed with its appearance. It's getting better each time. I had my doubts originally about combining all three publications together, but it does seem to be working out, and the trade paperback does look better on my bookshelves!  :D
