Zombosium

Are any of you attending ZOMBOSIUM - the Zombie Conference at Winchester University: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-15492383
Seems to be a market to be tapped here - or are you already on the case?!

  • To write. To be truly read. That must be glorious.

Maybe we'll finally get an answer about what's kept Bruce Forsyth going for so long.

I've never heard of it before now. (If Caroline did post some information ... then I grovel for not noticing it.)

It wasn't the type of thing I would have expected the BFS to give prior news about.  I was just addressing authors here to keep tapping that market as academia are now having conventions about this subject!

It's the type of thing that the BFS should include in its news -- along with info about books, launches, events, etc.

No, sorry, I haven't spotted this before now. If I'm not too late to post it (I haven't checked the link yet so I don't know the date) I'll do so later if it looks appropriate to do so.

I guess the thing to say to everyone here is, if it looks to be of interest to anyone in - or thinking of being in - the BFS, then please send it to me at news@britishfantasysociety.org (or my own email if you are one of the people who has this  ;)). I can't promise to post everything that gets sent to me - I'd have to clone myself to do that - but unless I spot it somewhere, it won't get on the BFS site otherwise!  :D

Too late - it was yesterday!  :D

There were few still hanging around today, though.

Those were probably just ordinary university academics, Des, not zombies at all.  ;D

(PS: I must point out, I'm a university academic - so no offence intended to those who share my vocation)
