A few of you may have been at the panel I ran at Fantasycon, on the subject of New Pulp Fiction. I mentioned at the time that there was an book due out, which has to be considered the essential purchase in this category, and it's finally here!

This superb cover, by award-winning artist Douglas Klauba graces a huge tome, containing 62 stories. Each story comes with a full-page introduction by one of 30 contributing artists.

A few months ago, Pro Se Press editor-in-chief and writer, Tommy Hancock, was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure - a devastating illness which seriously threatened his life. Obviously, being in the USA, this also burdened Tommy and his family with some serious medical bills, so this benefit collection was born, and grew and grew...

It's now available from Amazon & Createspace in paperback. A pdf version can be purchased from the Airship 27 website. A Kindle version is currently being worked on and it's been announced that there will also be an audiobook, which will run for some 42 hours! All proceeds of all editions will go to help Tommy Hancock with his medical bills.

What's in the book? The full lust of contributors can be seen on the back cover...

Adrian Cole contributes a new tale of his hard-boiled occult detective, Nick Nightmare, recently the subject of his British Fantasy Award-winning collection, Nick Nightmare Investigates. Jilly Paddock gives us a short story featuring her science fiction series characters, Afton & Jerome. Win Scott Eckert tells a new tale of the classic pulp character, The Green Ghost. There are far too many highlights to list! Pretty much every genre that was featured in the pulps is represented here.
