Hello from Edinburgh
« on: April 03, 2012, 08:11:04 pm »
Hi,

I'm Cat and I've been a fan of Horror (books and movies) since I was a child. Dean Koontz is my favourite horror writer.

I might as well confess it now so you can get the tomato flinging out of the way; I'm one of those ghastly self published authors! :o I know, I know. I hang my head in shame every day but it doesn't seem to stop me. I write mainly paranormal romance (I have 3 vampire books, 1 about a Muse and am currently writing a zombie novel). The wonderful thing about being self published though, is that you don't have to stick to a genre, so I also have 3 historical novels, though one of those probably counts as historical fantasy, I think.

I've been writing since I was 14 but I never even considered that it could be a career as I'm dyslexic. Still, I'm not doing too badly at it, and I have a very understanding editor!

So, um, hi. ;D

Close indeed. I hope you wrapped up warm today; you usually get our weather, only worse and it's been miserable here all day. Brrr!

Hi guys, thanks for the welcome  :)

Didn't know there were so many from north of the border. Do you suppose the BFS'll kick us out if Scotland gets independence? Hopefully they'll think Alex Salmond is a cruel and unusual punishment and take pity on us ;D
