Hi Des,

Are these publications still available? I couldn't attend the con due to just having surgery in a cancer unit days before I was due to go.
On the BFS website there is no page for purchases, This is very disappointing as I had bought my ticket!

Please let me know about this either on here or on fb...I'm pretty sure we're new friends on there  :)
 Or even at pinkpenguin01@outlook.com

While stocks last (and we have plenty at the moment) all new members will receive copies of these books, and as a new member you'll receive them later this month. So ... don't panic!

Otherwise the books are *not* for sale outside the BFS.

Having just renewed my membership (after having let it lapse for several months) I look forward to getting these books too. They're probably worth the membership fee alone. :)

My book is rather wonderful, even if I do say so myself... ;)

I'm still in a quandry over whether to renew or not. I guess my membership has lapsed? I haven't received the books, anyway. I would love a copy of The Burning Circus .. but I'm still undecided about whether to rejoin or not. If it was available to buy I'd simply buy a copy. Hmmm .. decisions, decisions ..

Go on, Caroline. You know it makes sense.  :D

I'm giving it another year anyway to see how things shape up.

Not sure, David. I was going to wait until I see some changes around the BFS - the things I've been complaining about for a while now, ie. lack of communication with members and so on.

I had thought that perhaps I was still a member when the anthos were promised to us, so I might get them - but I've not heard anything about it yet. No, I'm going to wait. I feel, at the moment, the money's better spent on books from small presses -that seems to me to be the best way to support them. What I spend on BFS membership, I can't then spend on books. Besides, you never know, a copy of The Burning Circus might turn up on ebay or something ...  ;D

I can understand that, Caroline. The last twelve months have not been inspiring. It will be interesting to see if there's a Journal out by Christmas - or soon after. And I would like to see the website get updated a bit more often than it is, even if it is nice to see my own two recent publications still on there!

Hope you do get your copies of the books. Hope to see mine soon too, especially the one edited by Johnny.

If anyone's membership has lapsed in the past few moths and you think you are owed the anthologies drop me an email with details and I'll look into it. There have been a few omissions due to errors -- there are always errors, unfortunately. That means you, Caroline -- you have my email.

Or email secretary @ britishfantasysociety .org

I did email you, Peter - you said you were looking into it. I assume you're still looking into it? I took it you were busy and hadn't got back to me yet ...

Oops, that email has gone walkies. Please send it again. Sorry. (Truth is, these post-WFC weeks have been hectic trying to keep on top of several projects.)
