That's good news. I hope to make it although it might conflict with a family event. Will you be there, Peter?

A reminder to everyone that the open night is tonight. I won't be there, but the chair will be, if you want to have a moan about me - or indeed any other aspect of the BFS!

No moans at all about you, Stephen, you're doing a sterling job.
At the moment it looks like just me, Sarah Pinborough and Mark Barrowcliffe are attending. Is anybody else going?

Just had a look on Twitter, and James Barclay, Rob Shearman, Helen Marshall, Richard Webb and someone from Jo Fletcher Books have mentioned coming too.

It was a good Open Night last Friday at the Phoenix Artists Club. Special guest this time around was Sarah Pinborough; she was interviewed by Mark Barrowcliffe for half an hour and I won one of her books in a free raffle! Good to catch up with a few people such as Sara Townsend, Phil Ambler, David Gullen, Gaie Sebold, James Barclay and Rob Shearman. It was also pleasing to see a lot of unfamiliar faces, many of them a bit younger than me, which has got to be a good sign for the future of the BFS. Well done to our new Events Organiser Richard Webb.

Sadly, Jan and I couldn't make it this time.

It would have been great to see you both there. I'm sure we'll catch up soon.
