I was making a reference to what Phil does in real life, Stephen. :D

I see! Our president is an actor too, and quite a few recent chairs have been on stage - Mark and Guy have done stand-up, Guy and Phil have been in Emmerdale, and I think Lee ran a professional science fiction theatre company for a time. Maybe we should stage the AGM as a play in future...

Does Phil's appointment to the post mean we now have a permanent "acting" chair?  ;)

Ba-dum-tish! He's here all week, folks  ;D ;)

Welcome aboard good captain,

Good luck with the new role Phil,

I'm just trying to renew at the moment but by cheque, some of us are still in the paper age,

Cheers,
Wayne.

Cheers, Wayne. Just shout if you have any problems.

Maybe we should stage the AGM as a play in future...

Well... I wasn't going to say anything yet, but....  ;D

Hi Wayne - your email appears to be hidden on your profile but zap me an email and I'll fire you an address for your cheque - chair<AT>britishfantasysociety.org (replacing the '<AT>' with an '@') Ta!

Seconded. A proactive Chair like Phil clearly is might see me rejoin sooner rather than later. I look forward to finding out what direction the BFS is heading in now.  :)

Thank you, both! I'll certainly try to get on here as often as I can  :)

Hi Phil,

Just got your e-mail, thanks for sorting this out for me. I've written the cheque and it will be in the post for Monday's delivery. I've also replied to your e-mail.

As our new mighty chair your already putting the world to rights,

Thanks,

Wayne.

World domination is in phase 5 (or 6, I keep swapping) of the long term plan  ;)
