manga studio ex 5

out of curiosity does any else use this software

it has become my favourite drawing package because it's so speedy and suits my style but having seen some vids of other people using it I've come to the conclusion they have very different approaches

I sketch and erase using the airbrush tool to compose and have come to use the pencils and pens for specific final touches and I keep layers to a minimum and avoid flat colour layers - I tried other methods but it seemed annoying and sapped the fun out of it (I love creating pearlecent effects with underpainting) - I guess that's because for years I've used paintbrushes before I embarked on computer art

the cyber method I have now settled into mimics my easel strategy

has this been a similar experience for you or are your material methods very different to your electronic art?
