Jonathan Waite, Zander Nyrond, Zanda Myrande--I
« on: September 18, 2017, 09:28:34 AM »
Hello everyone. I write stories and self-publish on Lulu.com under my given name of Jonathan Waite here: http://www.lulu.com/spotlight/zander_nyrond?searchTerms=&pageOffset=4 This page also features the work of my wife Janet M. Warner.

I also have a Patreon page, on which I post shorter pieces, extracts and episodes of longer works, poems and songs: https://www.patreon.com/zandamyrande Just pledge as little as $1 a month to see everything. (Though more would be nice.)

If you like the songs, more music by me can be found here: https://zandernyrond.bandcamp.com/

Most of my fiction is fairly light in tone, "soft" sf or outright fantasy. You can find a sample in this post: https://www.patreon.com/posts/boy-in-bubble-14159121

I hope you like what I do.

A bit more about me; I'm sixtysomething, live in the West of England, don't work at the moment due to illness (hence the Patreon) and am some kind of trans woman, though not out in real life for a whole host of reasons. I've worked in shops, in a comic and book wholesale distributors, and in the civil service, and I'm currently in retreat from Facebook due to my lefty politics not being pure enough.

Hi Zanda!

I just (finally!) came around to reading "Two Magicians and a Boat" and I loved it. I actually didn't find it that "light". It sure had its comic moments, but I felt a certain seriousness in it that for instance its predecessor had not, and I think that really added to it.

I really do hope other readers will discover your work, too.

My favourite is probably still "Tetrad". :-)

I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

I'm very fond of Tetrad myself. I keep wondering about a sequel, but not sure if it needs it.
