They are the best of times because big science fiction conventions are scheduled for two consecutive weekends in Roanoke. And they are the worst of times because organizers of the two events spent the last six months of 2010 in court. Read more here.

Since 1972 the Down Under Fan Fund (DUFF), a fan-supported fellowship, has encouraged closer ties between science- fiction fans in Australasia and North America through an alternating exchange of representatives. Nominations are now open.
