FantasyCon 2011 — price rises imminent

With effect from 1 April 2011, prices for a weekend membership to FantasyCon 2011 rise to ’55 for non-BFS members, ’50 for members. The price for a day membership (Saturday only) will be ’40, so book now to avoid the increase. Current cost of registration is ’50 (’45 to BFS members). Prices will increase again on 1 July.

FantasyCon 2011 will be held over the weekend of 30 September to 2 October 2011 at the Royal Albion Hotel, Brighton — venue for the highly successful 2010 World Horror Convention.

The Guests of Honour are:  World Fantasy Award-winning author Gwyneth Jones (also known as Ann Halam); Swedish horror writer John Ajvide Lindqvist; and novelist and screenwriter Peter Atkins.

FantasyCon 2011’s first Special Guest is multiple award-winning author Brian Aldiss, OBE.

Mistress of Ceremonies is Sarah Pinborough, British Fantasy Award-winning Author.
