Harry Potter and the e-Book

J K Rowling has confirmed that she will release paid-for e-book versions of her Harry Potter books from her new website Pottermore “in partnership” with her print publishers. The news was unveiled via YouTube and at a press conference held 23 June. The e-books will be released in October, and will be available only on the Pottermore website, but will be compatible across a range of devices, including Amazon’s Kindle.
