Ian Stewart guests at the BSFG

Ian Stewart will guest at the Birmingham Science Fiction Group for their meeting on Friday 15 July.

‘Ian Stewart is Professor of Mathematics at Warwick University and has a distinguished career in mathematics, having previously held academic positions in Germany, New Zealand and the USA. He has collaborated three times with Sir Terry Pratchett and Jack Cohen in producing the Science of the Discworld trilogy, and twice more with Jack Cohen in writing Wheelers and Heaven, which comprise the Lifesoul Cherisher series.’

This meeting starts at 7:45 pm at the Briar Rose hotel on Bennett’s Hill in Birmingham city centre — just a few minutes walk from New Street Station.
