The BFS wants your news

If you have news of forthcoming books, conventions, signings, awards, etc, the BFS website wants this information. As you can see, if you frequent the BFS web pages, items are posted at least once a week. We hope that the website is proving to be a valuable resource. To ensure your news is covered, send information to news@britishfantasysociety.org.

The downside is: we don’t have the time or staff to trawl the WWW, nor to extract the relevant details from websites and poster-style press releases. We need the news sent to us as straightforward text either in the body of the email, or as a DOC or RTF attachment. Small JPEG images should also be sent as attachments (usually no larger than 100 KB).

We are now receiving lots of information from publishers, authors, organisers, etc, in easy-to-summarise press releases. In order to get your news listed, please do the same. If you don’t, your news may get missed. Thanks.
