The World Fantasy Convention returns to the UK in 2013

The World Fantasy Convention will be returning to the British Isles for the first time in sixteen years over Hallowe’en 2013. The key organisers of the 1988 and 1997 WFCs in London, the 2007 and 2010 World Horror Conventions in Toronto and Brighton, are all involved in the planning of this unmissable event for fans of the fantastic in literature and the arts.

The location will be the picturesque and vibrant seaside town of Brighton, on the south coast of England, and we will be using the historic Hilton Brighton Metropole Hotel, which stands right on the seafront. Just an hour’s train journey from the centre of London, and with easy links to both Heathrow and Gatwick Airports, the Metropole is the ideal venue for a world-class event, having hosted two World Science Fiction Conventions. So there is plenty of space to hold one of the most memorable WFCs in the convention’s history.

Over the next couple of years we will be releasing information on the official website.
