We have a wonderful line-up of readings as part of the Jubilee event!

11:00 am – Kevan Manwaring

Kevan Manwaring, PhD, is a writer of fantasy & non-fiction exploring ecology, fantastika, and the bardic tradition. He is a Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing, and lives on the Jurassic Coast. Author website: www.kevanmanwaring.co.uk

12:15pm – Tiffani Angus

Tiffani Angus’s debut novel, Threading the Labyrinth, was a finalist for the British Science Fiction Association and British Fantasy Society awards for Best Novel. A Clarion 2009 graduate, she’s also published short stories and is working on her second novel as well as conducting research for a series of novellas. After spending a decade teaching creative writing and publishing, she’s currently building the Underhill Academy for SFF/H writers, a set of online creative writing and publishing courses, with fantasy author Trip Galey. In early 2023, Spec Fic for Newbies, a beginner’s guide to writing various subgenres of science fiction, fantasy, and horror, co-written with author/academic Val Nolan, will be out with Luna Press. 1:15pm – James Bennett


James Bennett is a British writer raised in Sussex and South Africa. His travels have furnished him with an abiding love of diverse cultures, history and mythology. His short fiction has appeared internationally and his debut novel ‘Chasing Embers’ was shortlisted for Best Newcomer at the British Fantasy Awards 2017. His latest fiction can be found in the well-received ‘The Book of Queer Saints’, BFS Horizons and The Dark magazine.
James lives in Spain where he’s currently working on a new novel.

2:30pm – David Green

David Green is a NEURODIVERSE writer of the epic and the urban, the fantastical and the mysterious.

With his character-driven dark fantasy series Empire Of Ruin, or urban fantasy noir HELL IN HAVEN, David takes readers on emotional, action-packed thrill rides.

Hailing from the north-west of England, David now lives in County Galway on the west coast of Ireland with his wife and train-obsessed son.

When not writing, David can be found wondering why he chooses to live in places where it constantly rains.

3:30pm – Stewart Hotston

Stewart Hotston lives in Reading, UK. He has had numerous short stories published as well as six novels, the latest of which is The Entropy of Loss from NewCon Press. Stewart writes for Sci Fi Bulletin and is guest editing the Justice in SFF issue of Vector magazine. When Stewart is not writing or working, he’s either LARPing or fighting with swords.

5:00pm – Sue York


 Six of Susan York’s short stories have been published in various anthologies and a journal. Last year, Midnight Street Press published her novelette, On the Cusp of Sleep. The same publisher has recently released Susan’s story collection, Starless and Bible Black.
