PS mixed up one of the titles. It’s the re-issue of Ramsey Campbell’s first volume of short stories, The Inhabitant of the Lake, from way back in 1964. PS says: “The actual title itself is fine; it’s the strapline that we’ve gotten wrong. The full correct title is: The Inhabitant of the Lake and Other Unwelcome Tenants and not The Inhabitant of the Lake and Other Less Welcome Tenants. The fact is that the Unwelcome version is . . .well, let’s let Ramsey explain.

‘The Inhabitant of the Lake and Other Unwelcome Tenants was the title I agreed with Derleth, but somewhere along the line it got changed by mistake (to and Less Welcome Tenants) and printed on the jacket, by which time he thought it was too expensive to change back.'”
