In The Return, Riley takes the reader back to his fictional town of Grudge End, somewhere in the North of England.  A town that has been plagued by satanic goings on, horrific ritual murders and strange disappearances for centuries.

Gary Morgan returns to Grudge End, seeking to escape from his previous, gangland life in London and revisit his childhood home before it is demolished.  After a chance encounter with a schoolmate, Gary soon finds himself thrust into a series of strange events and fighting against forces he cannot understand.

Riley’s tales of the weird and evil are always fantastically well written – truly gripping yarns that keep the reader engaged and enthralled throughout.  At times gruesome, filled with superb detail, witty dialogue and believable characters, The Return is a classic work of horror that deserves a place on your bookshelf.
